This page explains what we analyse, what we do not, and how we comply with GDPR and data privacy requirements
We analyse communication metadata from Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Slack — who communicates with whom, how frequently, and when. That is all
We never access message content, subject lines, attachments, or any free-text data. Unless agreed in advance with your employer's Data Protection Officer — and notified to you in advance — we never produce findings that identify individual employees
We never access message contentStructural maps of how your organization actually works — which teams collaborate effectively, where informal knowledge concentrates, where structural dependencies create risk
Before any processing begins, your employer completes a Legitimate Interests Assessment (LIA) and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA). These set out the purpose, how long data can be held, how it will be anonymized, and whether it is necessary to use communication data to achieve the purpose
In most cases, your employer will notify you in advance to explain the purpose and necessity of the project
The same organizational decisions would be made without us. What changes is the basis on which they are made — and the degree of individual exposure involved
| Traditional people process | HD analysis |
|---|---|
| Named, individual-level assessments distributed across HR systems and manager spreadsheets | Pseudonymised metadata. Group-level outputs only. Processed in a controlled analytics pipeline |
| Self-report and manager bias built into the evidence | Based on actual, auditable communication activity. Not subject to perception or reporting error |
| Typically requires interviews, surveys, and HR data collection across the workforce | No survey distribution. No interviews. Works within existing technology infrastructure |
